Dear stranger,

thanks for stopping by. I'm Honza. Father, founder, builder. I've been building things on the web for twenty years and I'm still not bored. My Projects folder has 565 folders in it right now. A few of them are even finished 🙂

Most of my time goes to four things:

Contember is the company I founded. We're a small team from Prague and Dublin, we wrote our own open-source framework and we build business software on it. The unglamorous kind that companies actually run on.

new! Fabrika is the newest thing at Contember and the one I'd show you first. Everyone can build an app with AI now. The catch is that "works on my laptop" and "safe to run a company on" are two very different things. With Fabrika the app gets built with AI in days, and security is held by an open-source platform in your own cloud, not by whoever wrote the prompt. Holiday approvals, a contract register, a simple CRM. Boring apps, built fast.

Nua Site is for everyone who's had "fix the website" on their to-do list since 2019. We rebuild your site 1:1, an autopilot keeps an eye on it and prepares fixes, and nothing goes live until you click approve. Your website, running itself. You can go back to ignoring it, just legally this time.

manGoweb builds websites and company systems that make sense and survive change. If you'd rather talk to people than to a product, start there.

What I enjoy most is the first version. Take a messy problem, put something clickable in front of people and see if they actually use it. My Projects folder has 37 folders starting with "demo-", so yes, I enjoy it a lot. Lately it's mostly AI agents. Some of them now work through my to-do list, which means I review their work instead of doing it. Not sure yet if that's a promotion.

If any of this sounds useful, or you just want to say hi, write back to me@honzasladek.com. Worst case, one of my agents drafts the reply and I approve it 🙂

Best,
Honza
